SAYC MEMBERSHIP

| Sunset Aquatic Yacht Club is always looking for new members; especially people who want to maximize the use of their boat. Joining SAYC is easy and inexpensive. There is a one-time $75.00 initiation fee for all members, which covers the cost of an SAYC burgee, Club Directory and membership processing. The annual dues for Regular Members are $275.00. Associate Memberships are also available for those who do not own a boat. An Associate Membership costs $175.00 per year.
SAYC Bylaws require that Regular Members own a vessel capable of providing living accommodations for two people for a minimum of two days with sleeping, cooking, and sanitary facilities. Size and type (power or sail) is irrelevant, but the ability to cruise to a local harbor for a two or three day weekend is required. SAYC enjoys a full cruising schedule, as well as numerous land-based events. As a member of the Southern California Yachting Association, SAYC members also enjoy Reciprocity at many yacht clubs in Southern California and beyond. Most people would like to try a club on for size prior to applying for membership. We welcome visitors and prospective members to all of our events.
